StrengthOS · Coming soon

A lifter’s log, built to be honest.

StrengthOS turns your training history into a read on strength progress, training load and readiness — deterministic, never hype. Every number on screen has a formula you can read, and where it can’t honestly compute one, it shows a dash instead of a guess.

Not yet on the App Store — still in development.

What’s built so far

Nine screens, one product: the log.

Trainer and gym-owner roles, an AI plan generator, a paywall and HealthKit are all cut from this release — this is a solo lifter’s log, done well.

  • The session screen

Rows of weight × reps. Last session’s numbers sit greyed into the placeholder, so repeating a lift is a glance rather than a lookup, with a rest timer running underneath.

  • Progress you can trust

An estimated-1RM trend per movement, a training-frequency heatmap, per-muscle weekly volume, and personal records — read back from what you actually logged.

  • No invented numbers

Estimated 1RM, tonnage and hard-set counts each have one formula, named on screen. Where it cannot honestly compute one — an RIR that was never recorded, a rep count outside the formula’s range — it shows a dash, never a guess.

  • 126 movements, 7 routines

Bundled and ready, with stable exercise identity, so a first session does not start from an empty screen.

  • Export, always

CSV and JSON through the share sheet — the training log is not trapped in the app that recorded it.

  • One sign-in

Apple or Google gates every launch, against the same account system the rest of the HealthOS family uses.

Deterministic, not hype

Every number has a formula. When it can’t compute one honestly, it says so.

Estimated 1RM
Epley: load × (1 + reps ÷ 30) — never extrapolated past its honest range.
Tonnage
Load × reps, summed. One definition.
Hard set
RIR ≤ 2 — and RIR is never defaulted, because a guess would silently inflate every weekly volume number.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Is StrengthOS available yet?

No. It is still in development. The App Store record exists, but no build has been released, so there is no install to offer yet.

What does it actually do?

It is a lifter’s log: log sets against last session’s numbers with a rest timer running, then read the history back — an estimated-1RM trend per movement, a training-frequency heatmap, per-muscle weekly volume, and personal records. 126 bundled movements, seven bundled routines, and export to CSV or JSON through the share sheet.

Will there be a subscription or a paywall?

No. There is no pricing, no paywall and nothing to buy — that was cut from the first release, along with a trainer role, a gym-owner role and an AI plan generator. This is a solo lifter’s log.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Signing in with Apple or Google gates every launch, against the same account system the rest of the family uses.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, by emailing resources@thetinyapp.com — there is no in-app deletion control yet. That is a known, recorded gap, not an oversight.

Does it use Apple Health?

No. StrengthOS does not read from or write to Apple Health, and it asks for no HealthKit permission.

Is StrengthOS a medical device?

No. It is a training log, not medical advice, and it makes no health claims. Where it cannot honestly compute a number — an estimated 1RM outside its formula’s range, a hard-set count with no RIR recorded — it shows a dash rather than a guess.
